Peacock Kumihimo Patterns with Quartz, Hematite and Fossil Beads
Semi-precious gemstones abound in this beautiful beaded kumihimo necklace and earrings set. Hematite ropes of over 500 beads flow smoothly around the neck while quartz and fossil beads enhance the jeweled peacock pendant at the center.
There are two kumihimo patterns braided into this necklace: a simple spiral design with quartz and fossil gemstones on four strands each and a basic 8-warp pattern of hematite beads on four strands.
“And He has filled [her] with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills–to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze…to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts.” (Exodus 35:31-33)
Jasper and Quartz Precious Stones Beaded Kumihimo Patterns
Made with green jasper and black quartz semi-precious gemstones as well as silver and pewter beads and findings, this beaded kumihimo necklace has two braided ropes that are joined with fire polish beads and pewter connectors.
There is no clasp for this necklace; it is designed to fit over the head. An alternate look is to attach tiny lobster clasps to the focal piece as well as the hematite ropes and wear each one as a single necklace or in combination with other jewelry accessories.
“The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone.” (Revelation 2:19a)
Identity Beaded Kumihimo Braiding Set
A single beaded kumihimo braiding design makes this necklace a true gem! The beautiful jewelry set serves as a stunning example of the kumihimo patterns you can make with a variety of gemstones. It is also a fitting inspirational reminder of the true victory you will experience in Christ once you know your true identity.
It is braided with an assortment of agate, jasper, quartz and other semi-precious gemstones as well as antique brass beads and Japanese glass seed beads. The center pewter medallion showcases the three parts of man (spirit, soul and body).
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
